In Sim City, four teams competed against 30 teams in the National Engineers Week SIM City Competition. Every team placed in the New York Regional Competition.

The theme of this year's competition was to design replaceable housing that people would be able to use in the event of a natural or financial disaster. Oma'Oma'O-which is Hawaiian for "green" was the 2nd place winning city designed by Chris Pessolano and Gary Lei. The students won a $2,000.00 scholarship (per year) to NYU-Poly Tech. This same team also placed 4th in the competition last year.

New Zeldillo, designed by Johnny Zangrillo and Lawrence Zeldin, won the award for Best Future Manufacturing Concept.

Eltingdorp, designed by Tyler Kruppa and Nick Culotta, won the People's Choice Award.

New Chicago, designed by Kristine Murnieks, Lindsey Ellison and Zachary Weeks won the Best Use of Cultural Resources Award.
